Important: SaleorNOT is an AI-powered tool that attempts to verify deals and compare prices using web search. Price information is NOT guaranteed to be accurate and changes constantly. Always verify prices directly with the retailer before making a purchase decision.

1. Acceptance

By using SaleorNOT, you agree to these Terms.

2. How It Works

SaleorNOT is a client-side web application. You provide your own Groq API key. All processing happens between your browser and Groq's API. There is no SaleOrNOT server.

3. NOT Financial Advice

SaleorNOT is NOT a substitute for:

Your own due diligence before making a purchase
Verifying prices directly on the retailer's website
Reading reviews and checking seller reputation
Professional price comparison services
Your own judgment about whether a deal is legitimate

Do NOT make purchase decisions based solely on SaleOrNOT results. Always verify prices directly with the retailer.

4. Price Estimates Are Not Guaranteed

Price verification may be inaccurate due to:

Prices changing between the time of search and your visit to the retailer
Dynamic pricing — retailers showing different prices to different users
Regional pricing differences and shipping costs not accounted for
Limited availability of price history data
Niche or new products with little public pricing data
Bundles, refurbished items, or different product variants with similar names
AI misreading screenshot text or prices

A "Great Deal" result does not guarantee the price is accurate or that the deal will still be available when you check.

5. Your API Key

You are responsible for your own Groq API key and its usage.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use SaleorNOT for:

Automated bulk price checking or scraping
Commercial price intelligence without proper licensing
Circumventing retailer terms of service
Any purpose that violates applicable laws

7. Limitation of Liability

SaleorNOT is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

Any financial losses from acting on price verification results
Inaccurate or incorrect price comparisons
Missed deals or incorrect scam warnings
Any purchase decisions made based on tool results
Price changes between verification and purchase

8. Scam Detection Limitations

While SaleOrNOT checks for common scam patterns, it cannot guarantee detection of all fraudulent listings. If you suspect a scam, report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
